About Me

For me, writing fantasy is a kind of creative engagement with the soul of the world. A big part of my motivation for telling stories comes from a feeling of reverence for this wild cosmos we’re a part of. I want it to set my imagination on fire, and to make stories that help reawaken our old kinship with nature in this time of uncertainty and loss.

Just listened to 'Foxfire, Foxfire' by @deuceofgears. I cannot believe how utterly charming and wonderful this story is. Had me laughing and smiling all the way to work. Cheers to @MichaelJDeLuca for narrating and @BCSmagazine for giving it a home, and Yoon Ha Lee for writing it!
